MAJOR CHANGES COMING!!!

The PNW will go Through a major pattern shift in the coming weeks. An upper level feature riding along a strong Jet will topple the ridge covering the PNW. What this will lead to is a COOL & eventually WET pattern for the PNW. THIS IS THE FALL PATTERN I WAS HINTING AT EARLIER IN THE SEASON.. This should be the Downfall of the summer heat covering most of the area. As we Head thru Mid October, this Pattern, WILL BE COMMON BUT NOT CONSISTANT(meaning it will take breaks). I see NO MAJOR persistant ridging ANYWHERE in the country for awhile, maybe a few dry patterns. Our Flow across the country doesn't look too extreme, but this should start the official cooldown of FALL. But the PNW isn't the only place ready to start the cooldown. MAJOR changes are coming to the US Heartland, well... most of the US. A MAJOR cold front that will charge from the northern plains thru the Midwest/Great lakes & eastern US EARLY NEXT WEEK will knock temps down up to 25 degrees in some areas & create lake effect RAINS + Frosts/freezes. IN addition, Very windy weather looks likely, excpecially in the Great Lakes/Midwest regions. LOOKING INTO THE LONG RANGE, The PNW, NORTHERN & CENTRAL PLAINS, MIDWEST, GREAT LAKES, NORTHEAST, OHIO VALLEY, AND OCCASIONALLY THE SE WILL SEE THE ONSET OF FALL WHEN OBSERVING THE PATTERN.
