Mt.Baker 1 of 3 major volcanos in the washington cascades is getting a closer look having more equipment instaled on the mountain watching in case it erupts
It would be pretty big if it erupts ever. I live north of the Washing border and I can see Mt. Baker in a lot of places.
i can see it to from my house if you are in the right spot Mt. Ranier is closer
I live "in the shadow" of Mount Baker also on Orcas Island. Considering the devastation an unexpected eruption could cause, monitoring is a good idea!! But I get the sense that Mt. Rainier is more dangerous in terms of likelihood of eruption, mudflows, earthquake, etc.
i agree but still Mt. baker would be devestating too for all of eastern washington vancouver bellingham and more
When is this volvano expected to erupt? Do any of you guys have any guesses?
if u say so but i was looking for a new house the other day and i found one with a breathtaking view of Mt Baker and the cascades on a hill looking over the snoqualmie vally but the veiw of Mt baker were amazing
