Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

Just looking for other people who have been married in September or are to be married in September.
My date is September 18 and regardless of the weather I'm sure our day will be fantastic. But, since it is an outdoor wedding I can only hope that we don't need to use our backup plan!
:)
Care to share any stories? Predictions? Try not to scare me.... :)

Welcome to the forums Katie

I say have a backup plan ready. The weather is so unpredictable it is always a good move to have a backup plan for anything.

September wedding

Congratulations! I was married on September 14th just about 8 years ago. We were married at 1:00 pm and it was very warm, short ceremony but by the time the reception started, thunderstorms came and pouring rain. It is always good to have a back up plan if you want an outdoor weddnig anytime between May and September. Best wishes!
