What is your location and climate?
We are fortunate to have four distinctive seasons here. Right now we are in the middle of my favorite one...autumn. We had a mild summer this year and it has been cooler than the normal for fall so far. I have a feeling winter will be more typical of the colder ones from my youth this year due to the signs I've been observing.
We are finally getting rain here in Los Angeles. The first rain fall in about 8 months. We really need it. Odd thing is, we are going to hit the 90's for about two days this week. Then it will cool back off. Technically it is Autumn, but I guess Summer wants to get its last kick in.
Mountain Top, PA.. A beautiful fall day, low 50s and sunny. This has been a cool, and rather stormy year. I don't think we hit 90 once this summer, and it has been cloudy probably 4 or 5 days out of 7 each week.
Thought you might like to know the weather we get here in Sussex. At the moment we are having what we call 'An Indian Summer' It is warm and sunny during the day, 60F-71F and only dropping to 50F at night.
I just can't believe Sunday is 1st November, we should be having frosts. I have a horrible feeling that when Winter does arrive it will make up for lost time, like last year.
I will keep you posted as to the weather here as a matter of interest to you as to the weather the other side of the pond.

Yeah, don't get comfortable with the warm weather. I grew up in a cold state. We had an Indian Summer for an entire month. Figured the winter would be easy, but when January came around we got a blizzard LOL. I remember schools were closed for a week.
A moderate nor'easter is anticipated in Marblehead, MA. Jud is looking more and more like a chicken and so am I.
