Douse them with cold water. Mites hate cold baths and will head for the hills if you spray them with water that is between 32 degrees and 40 degrees F. If you find an infested plant, attack with ice water. Keep a spray bottle in the refrigerator and mist once or twice a day until the mites are all gone.
