We're considering installing an in-ground swimming pool, but we want our trees and landscaping to remain intact. Are plantings near pools at risk?
The chemicals used in pools can kill or harm plants if the pool water comes in contact with their roots. To prevent this, make sure the filter is always working properly and no pool water is ever dumped or splashed near plants and trees. Chlorine will ultimately cause foliage to turn brown.
