Question:

Can we grow Japanese tree lilacs in Georgia, and are they easy to grow?

Answer:

Japanese tree lilacs produce white ornamental flowers that are quite different from traditional lilacs. The tree or large shrub can reach a height and width of about 20 feet. It is hardy to Zone 3 and grows at a moderate speed. Like other lilacs, it can easily become overgrown and needs pruning every few years.
