When is the best time to transplant a wisteria bush?
Wisterias are slow to take when transplanted. Early spring, just before they leaf out, is best. Prepare the soil deeply with plenty of compost or peat moss. Keep the plant well watered throughout the summer. --Gardening experts George and Becky Lohmiller, Hancock, New Hampshire
