The Planting by the Moon Table in the 2012 print edition of the Almanac shows the best/Moon dates for a late planting of spinach (referring to your greens here) is October 15 to October 21. Turnip's second season planting dates are September 30 through October 14. If you are in an area that has a potential for frost, get the plants in now and hope for the best. We hope this helps!
