I never knew of thatI never knew of that practice. I've been planting just before or on a new moon (day or night) with the idea that the gradual pull or stretch of the suns energy by the moon pulling to the opposite side of the earth helps pull the plants to life. I also like to plant seeds around this time if an electrical storm is in the forecast... I imagine the storm helps germinate the seeds. People say I have good luck with planting from seed but I like to imagine it's understanding.
