For full-size dahlias, a potFor full-size dahlias, a pot about 12 to 20 inches wide and deep (or wider) works well. (Taller varieties will do better with the larger sizes.) Ideally, plant only one tuber per container, although some gardeners have had success with more than one in a pot.
