You can cut and divide some of these for new plants. A hydrangea can be propagated from soft wood cuttings. Cut 4-6 inch lengths of new green stems from the bush. Dip the bottoms of the stems in rooting hormone and plant in small pots. Remove the biggest leaves to encourage root growth.
