I have beets that I grew overI have beets that I grew over the winter this year (I live in zone 10). I grew the variety Chioga, which comes out red with white stripes like a target. Most of the beets came out perfectly except for being huge because they were in the ground so long, but one of the beets came out white for some reason (my boyfriend thought it was a parsnip until I pointed out the leaves). Any idea why this would happen? Is there anything wrong with the beet?
