Hair loss can be caused by several things, including allergies (such as to flea saliva, shampoo, carpet deodorizer, food), stress, hormones, bug bites, ringworm, follicle infection, mange, etc. Check if the area is scaly or dry, or has a red ring around it (which might suggest ringworm, which is a fungal infection). If the bald patch continues to increase in size or develop redness, or there are signs of discomfort, we'd suggest talking to a vet. In the meantime, consider whether your dog had been exposed to something new in her environment that might be causing an allergic reaction. Hope this helps!
