Held every Saturday morning in the winter, and Saturdays and Wednesdays during the summer months, the Charlottetown Farmers' Market, located opposite the University of PEI on Belvedere Ave., has a wide array of vendors.
There are more "prepared" food vendors than you might be used to at a market: it's possible to get all manner of foods, from samosas to fried eggs, and many people "make a morning of it," and eat their breakfast and do their shopping over several hours
