Hello,
I work for Bombardier Transport in Quebec. Our client Metro North Railroad in NY state is telling us that the lowest yearly temperatures encountered along their rail lines can be lower than -5 deg F. I would need a history of lowest winter temperatures (since as far back in time as you can go) at nothern-most stations along each route which are: Poughkeepsie, Waissac, Otisville, Danbury, Spring Valley, Waterbury. Is this possible for you to deliver? Thanks.

Yes it will deliver. You would enter city and state or US zip code. The tool goes back to 1960 and provides average and lowest recorded temperature for your date range. What's handy is you could run a report for just the cold months over a set of years versus looking at annual data if you so desired.

Is there anyway to find out what day in 1991 that it snowed in Conyers, Ga?
Submitted by Almanac Staff
Yes. That is one of the things this weather history search tool does. We just took a quick peek and weather stations in and near Conyers reported 8 snow occurrences in 1991. Although they only reported one day with a Snow Depth (.4" on Jan 24, 1991). Sounds like on the other 7 days it snowed at least a little but it didn't stick to the ground.

How do I download reports to Excel?
Submitted by Alan Henning
The name of each report is in a red block in the upper left hand corner (click on one of the sample reports and you'll see it). Just underneath the report name is a link called "Download raw data." Click that, save it to your desktop, then open that CSV file with Excel.
