As the style of these spoons is primitive, the handles twist different ways and you are guaranteed to see an occasional knot, natural imperfection, and interesting grain character. The spoon’s deep color comes from the cherry hardwood itself. Additionally, these spoons have been dipped in food-grade mineral oil to protect the wood and enhance the grain. The finish is buttery smooth in texture. Made in the USA.
