Our week has started on Sunday for over 70 years. I find it extremely sad that this has changed for some reason. The ONLY desk calendar I can find with Sunday first is a Jewish calendar. Isn't that ironic? Shame on the Almanac for 'going along'. I'm disappointed!!!

The Old Farmer's Almanac Engagement Calendar is made for recording plans and appointments, and each spread shows just one week at a time. Therefore, we thought that it would be convenient for readers to have the week days together, followed by the weekend days, Saturday and Sunday, on the same spread. Our wall calendars, however, contain the traditional "Sunday through Saturday" format.
