The Almanac Tick Remover just may be the easiest-to-use tick remover on earth!

This patent pending design has been perfected and tested for over five years and is responsible for the removal of countless ticks of all sizes including deer ticks and dog ticks. Our Tick Remover is fabricated from high-strength anodized aluminum—it is not a weak plastic. The Tick Key lies flat and is easily stored in a wallet, pocket, on a key chain, collar, saddle, or leash.

  • It is the only device of its kind that uses natural forward leverage to remove the entire tick—head and all.
  • You do not need to touch even the most engorged ticks with your fingers, because of the convenient design.
  • The 3 pack allows you to share with a friend, clip one to your hiking backpack, and store one on your keychain.

Made in USA
Color: Yellow

How it Works: Place the key over the tick in the slot. Pull key away from tick sliding along the skin. The tick is removed easily, head and all!

i am not saying the product does not work but if you do not know how to properly remove a tick with out it and no matter the size then let me educate you. you must turn the tick counter-clockwise. that is opposite of the direction that it bores into the flesh. I have removed at least 100 ticks from not only myself but several animals over the years. the problem i see with the "key" is the same problem as just pulling it out as stated to the side. the mouth parts could still break causing fluids from the tick to get in your blood stream as well as remnants remaining, wich is the cause of contracting whatever it has i.e. lymes disease.

Ticks and their mouthparts are not shaped like screws with threads. It is a myth that you must turn them counterclockwise to remove (Lefty Loosey Righty Tighty). Ticks have symmetrical mouthparts with backward facing barbs. A twisting action in either direction with loosen the barbs grip on flesh.
Tick tools made to twist will work, but they are plastic and not convenient or comfortable to carry with you. Think of a small toothbrush but instead of bristles there is a hook.
When you discover a tick on you, your child, or pet you will want it out as quickly as possible. There's a good chance you won’t be at home near your medicine cabinet. The best tick remover is the one that you always have with you.
Why we sell the Tick Key:

  • It is easy and comfortable to have with you always. Carry on your key chain or slip in your wallet
  • It is made of aluminum, so it’s lightweight and won’t break
  • We offer Tick Keys in 3 packs so you can share with others or keep in separate locations for convenience (backpack, car, purse)
  • They work! It’s hard to see the detail of the Tick Key in the photos but as you slide the tick down towards the bottom of the deep V groove the shape of its edge creates powerful leverage that is already dislodging the tick and keeping it from breaking apart. By the time you get to the bottom, ticks just come out with a quick painless pop.

poot 72, this is a link to YouTube of a Veterinarian removing a tick from a dog's ear using the tick key. I bought one of these from my local pet store. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it yet. Thanks to your review I now know how to use it.

The Tick Key does EXACTLY what it says. There's nothing better out there! It's safe and EASY to use- gets the whole tick every time.
I can't tell you how many times the body of the tick had broken away while removing it, leaving the head deeply embedded in me or my dog. Now, that's a thing of the past. I LOVE this product!

Review by the manufacturer. I'm sure that is unbiased.

The folks at Tick Key are biased about their invention. In fact, they are downright proud! Please note, they were upfront and identified themselves.

Not sure, and don't want to piss you off, but I think we're talking about snake oil. All the reviews are positive, which made me question who was writing, was it the company or the customer.

However, don't you think they should have at least made a video to show how it works. If I could see how it's used then I could figure out to buy or not. Otherwise I think it's snake oil. Company should show more, otherwise I'll blow off something that may have worked, but not having more information, No Deal.
