- 6 Granny Smith apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 325°.
Spread peeled and sliced apples in a 9-inch buttered baking dish; cover with sugar and nutmeg. Blend well remaining ingredients. Spread over apples. Bake at 325° for one hour. This can be served as a side dish or dessert -- good either way.
