Apple Sauce Cake Recipe

This is a simple recipe I received from a friend.

• 1 cup butter
• 1-1/2 cups sugar
• 2 cups hot applesauce
• 3 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons nutmeg
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 teaspoons allspice
• 4 teaspoons cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a saucepan melt butter, add sugar, hot applesauce, and eggs.

Sift together flour and spices and add to mixture.

Bake in an 11x13-inch pan for 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees F.
