A rich, creamy punch, popular in Newport, Rhode Island.
Yield: Serves 30.
- 2 quarts chilled coffee, instant or regular, frozen in ice-cube trays and crushed
- 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1/2 cup Jamaican rum
Just before serving combine crushed coffee ice cubes, ice cream, and rum in punch bowl. Stir until most of the ice has blended into the ice cream and rum.
