Barbecue Bean Supper

An easy dish for the campfire or stove top.

Yield: Serves two people

  • 6 sasuage links (about 1/3 pound)
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 can (1 pound) barbecue beans
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Cook sausage until done. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon drippings. Add green pepper (or onion), cook until tender. Add beans and cheese. Heat, stirring now and then.
