Yield: 6 to 8 servings
- 1-1/2 pounds ground meat (all beef or a combination of veal, pork, and beef)
- 1 egg
- 1 cup liquid (such as milk or tomato juice)
- 1/2 cup dry ingredients (such as bread crumbs)
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, using your hands to mix everything together well. Pat mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.
