- 2 pounds raw peanuts, unshelled
- 4 tablespoons table salt
- 10 cups water
- 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
1. Thoroughly rinse raw unshelled peanuts in water.
2. Put water, salt, seasoning, and peanuts in large stockpot, bring to a boil, cover. Boil for five hours or longer until peanuts reach desired level of softness.
3. Drain. Eat peanuts within a couple of days. Boiled peanuts don't save as well as dry.
