Brunswick Stew for Crockpot Recipe

Easy and very good! You can use frozen vegetables if preferred.

Yield: 10-12

Preparation Time: 45 minutes

Start to Finish Time: 9 hours

  • 4 large bone in breasts or 10 thighs (white or dark preference)
  • 2 cans creamed corn
  • 2 cans white/yellow w/juice
  • 2 cans lima beans w/ juice
  • 2 cans Campbells tomato soup
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes w/ juice
  • 2 onions diced
  • 2 cups cubed frozen hash browns *added last hour if desired.
  • salt/pepper/garlic salt to taste
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • chicken broth

Boil chicken for 45 minutes with bone and skin. Let cool and pull off all meat. Drain the broth and use for base in soup to liking. Toss in all ingredients and Cook on Low in large crockpot for 8 hours. VERY GOOD
