Brysell Cookies

Brysell is the Swedish word for Brussels. These cookies are similar in taste to sugar cookies and are nice for packing in a lunch or serving at tea time.


2 cups butter
1 cup confectionersa€ (TM) sugar
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla


Cream butter and sugar, and add flour and vanilla. Shape into logs and roll in colored sugar, crushed nuts, or pearl sugar. Slice into ¼-inch rounds. Bake at 350 degrees F for 7 to 9 minutes on ungreased baking sheet.
