- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 squares melted chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- dash of salt
- 2 or 3 tablespoons cream
Cream the butter until soft; gradually stir in 1 cup of sugar, then the melted chocolate and the other ingredients and the rest of the sugar. This is enough to frost one cake or 24 cup cakes.
