Clambake Sauce Recipe

Yield: About 1 quart

  • 1 pound butter
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 pint tarragon vinegar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 bottle Worcestershire sauce (2-1/2 ounces)

Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the vinegar and seasonings. Cover and let simmer for 5-10 minutes until well blended and thickened.
