Yield: Makes 16 to 24 pieces.
- 5 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup condensed milk
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix all ingredients in a food processor or with an electric mixer until well blended. Spread into a well-greased pan (a 13x9-inch baking pan or 2 pie pans). Bake about 25 minutes, until dough begins to shrink from edge of pan. Remove from pan and cut into squares or wedges, then place onto a greased cookie sheet. Reduce heat to 275 degrees and bake another 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.

Is this sweetened condensed
Is this sweetened condensed milk in the recipe? I am assuming it is-it would add both sugar and moisture. I'll post back when I make these and let you know.
