- 1 cup white corn meal
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1 dessert spoon butter
- salt
- 1 egg, beaten very light
- 3 tablespoons cream (sour cream is fine, too)
Mix the ingredients together in the order given. Drop the mixture by spoonfuls onto a well buttered hot pan and bake for 15 minutes in a 450 degrees F oven.
