  • 1 cup white corn meal
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 dessert spoon butter
  • salt
  • 1 egg, beaten very light
  • 3 tablespoons cream (sour cream is fine, too)

Mix the ingredients together in the order given. Drop the mixture by spoonfuls onto a well buttered hot pan and bake for 15 minutes in a 450 degrees F oven.
