Cornmeal Pancakes

Ingredients

1 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup boiling water, let stand for 10 minutes
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup half-and-half
1 egg
1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

Mix cornmeal, salt, and sugar together. Add and stir in water. Add and stir in butter. Mix together and stir in half-and-half and egg. Mix together and stir in flour and baking powder.

Bake on griddle at 400 degrees F.
