- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 squares chocolate, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Cream together the butter and 3/4 cup of the sugar until light, add the salt, vanilla, and chocolate and mix well. Fold the remaining sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time into the egg whites. Add the chocolate mixture, folding gently but thoroughly only enough to blend. This is a very fluffy frosting that spreads like whipped cream.
