This is a fun, interactive breakfast when you have weekend guests!

Yield: As many bags as you have.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Start to Finish Time: 23 minutes

  • Eggs and assorted minced ingredients such as ham, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, cheeses, etc.

Have your guests use a permanent marker to write their name on a quart-size freezer bag with zip lock. Then have each one crack two large or extra-large eggs into the bag (more than two won't work). Put out a variety of ingredients such as cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, salsa etc. for individuals to add their choices to the bag--shake to mix. Squeeze all the air out of the bag and place all of them into a rolling boiling pot of water for exactly 13 minutes. You can cook 6-8 bags at a time before needing another pot of water. Open the bags and the omelet will easily roll out. Everyone will be amazed!
