This recipe has been in our family since I can remember and has always been devoured by all who were served this tasty treat. I miss my Mother since her passing 10 years ago; but, I always remember her smile as she served up this dish.

Yield: Depends on how big the slices are... Lol

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Start to Finish Time: 1 hour at the most

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 large can peaches

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix cake with 2 eggs and softened butter then fold into 9x13" cake pan. Cook for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Mix cinnamon with sugar ... set aside. Mix sour cream with 1 remaining egg ... set aside. Remove cake from oven and sprinkle with part of the sugar mixture; place drained peaches on top, then sprinkle remaining sugar on top of peaches. Spread sour cream mixture on top of peaches and place in oven for another 15 minutes ... wait until dessert sets before serving. Enjoy!
