Potato Doughnuts

Very light.


2 cups mashed potato (not hot)
1 cup sweet milk
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 tablespoons melted butter
6 cups flour
6 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt


Roll the dough out as soft as possible and fry, a few at a time in fat heated to 360 degrees F. Drain on paper towels.
