Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus is a lovely spring appetizer or side dish. The salty prosciutto perfectly complements fresh asparagus for a quick, crowd-pleasing dish. Be sure to add this to the menu for your next dinner party!

This is a bit less of a recipe and a bit more of a formula for success. Scale the instructions up or down to meet your needs (and the amount of asparagus you have on hand).

Ingredients
Asparagus spears
Thin slices prosciutto
Olive Oil
Salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450° F.
  2.  Trim the asparagus ends, then carefully wrap each spear in a slice (or a ½ slice) or prosciutto.
  3. Place the wrapped asparagus on a broiler pan, brush with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the asparagus until the prosciutto is crispy, but not burnt.
  5. Remove from heat and serve hot or cold.
