Winter Snowfall Predictions 2014–2015
While Winter 2014–2015 will not be as snowy as last winter, much of the northeastern quarter of the country still will have above-normal snowfall.
Snowfall will be above normal in most of the Northeast, although below normal in much of New England.
Winter snowfall will be below normal in the western mountain region unlike last season which was above-normal snowfall (as predicted by the Almanac). The snowiest time of the season will be early to mid-March.
