The red skin under their beak

By georgewilson on November 26

The red skin under their beak is called a wattle. Interesting to think about the eagle versus the turkey. The eagle is majestic and powerful but also a no-nonsense killer; the turkey is a native, colorful, and provides us with belly-filling comfort, but also the domestic ones are very fat! Ha ha.
