Winter temperatures will be above normal, with below-normal precipitation. The coldest periods will occur in late December, early to mid-January, and mid- to late February. Snowfall will be below normal, except in the southeast, with the snowiest periods occurring in early and mid-January.
April and May will be cooler than normal, with below-normal rainfall in the south and above in the north.
Summer rainfall will be below normal, while temperatures will be close to normal, on average. The hottest periods will occur in late June, early to mid-July, and late July.
