The coldest periods will be in mid- and late December, late January, and mid- and late February. Snowfall will be above normal near Reno but below normal elsewhere, with the snowiest periods in early and mid-December, early January, and mid- and late February.

April and May will be slightly cooler and wetter than normal.

Summer will be hotter than normal, with slightly above-normal rainfall. The hottest periods will be in mid-June, mid- and late July, and early August.

September and October will be much cooler than normal, with near-normal precipitation.
