Annual Weather Summary: November 2016 to October 2017
Winter season temperatures will be below normal, on average, with the coolest periods in mid-December, early and mid- to late January, and mid- and late February. Rainfall will be below normal from Kauai eastward to Oahu and above normal farther east.
April and May will be slightly warmer than normal, with rainfall a bit below normal on the Big Island and above normal elsewhere.
Summer temperatures will be slightly cooler than normal, on average, with rainfall below normal on the Big Island and Maui and above normal elsewhere. The warmest periods will be in late July and early to mid- and mid- to late August.
September and October temperatures will be slightly cooler than normal, with near-normal rainfall.
