Winter temperatures will be colder than normal, with the coldest periods in mid-December, throughout January, and mid-February. Precipitation will be below normal in Alberta and above normal in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Snowfall will be below normal in most of the Prairies but above normal in the Calgary region, with the snowiest periods in late November, mid-December, and late March.
April and May will be warmer and slightly drier than normal.
Summer will be slightly hotter and drier than normal, with the hottest periods in late July and early and mid-August.
September and October will be drier than normal, with temperatures slightly cooler than normal.
