In winter, the northern part of the region will have above-normal temperatures, slightly below-normal precipitation, and near-normal snowfall, while the south will have near-normal temperatures, with below-normal precipitation and snowfall. The coldest periods will be in mid-November, late December, early and late January, and mid- and late February. The snowiest periods will be in early and late December, late January, late February, and mid-March.
April and May will be warmer and drier than normal.
Summer will be hotter and drier than normal, with drought a concern. The hottest periods will be in mid- and late June and early and mid- to late August.
September and October will be much milder than normal, with near-normal rainfall.
