Winter temperatures will be slightly above normal in the north but two degrees below normal in the south, on average. The coldest periods will be in the first half of December, early and late January, and early and mid-February. Precipitation will be near or slightly below normal, with below-normal snowfall. The snowiest periods will be in early December, mid-January, most of February, and early and mid-March.
April and May will be warmer than normal, with hot temperatures in late May. Precipitation will be above normal in the north and near or slightly below normal in the south.
Summer will be cooler and rainier than normal in the north and hotter and drier than normal in the south. The hottest temperatures will occur in early to mid-June and most of July.
September and October will be warmer and drier than normal.
