Easter Weekend Weather Forecast (U.S)

US Weather Regions 2018

Region 1: Northeast

  • The weekend should start with precipitation, but end with cool, sunny weather.

Region 2: Atlantic Corridor

  • Rain is expected, with cooler-than-normal temperatures.

Region 3: Appalachians

  • Rain showers are expected. The weekend will start off with milder temperatures, but turn cool. 

Region 4: Southeast

  • Rain showers and cooler-than-normal temperatures are likely.

Region 5: Florida

  • Scattered thunderstorms may occur in the north, but sunny and warm weather is expected elsewhere.

Region 6: Lower Lakes

  • Rain and snow showers are possible. Cool temperatures are expected.

Region 7: Ohio Valley

  • The weekend will start with rain, which may turn to snow. Expect cooler-than-normal weather.

Region 8: Deep South

  • Easter weekend is expected to be cool and rainy.

Region 9: Upper Midwest

  • Rain and snow showers are expected, with colder-than-normal temperatures.

Region 10: Heartland

  • Plan for a cool, rainy holiday weekend.

Region 11: Texas–Oklahoma

  • Temperatures will be cooler-than-normal. The weekend will be a mix of sun and rain.

Region 12: High Plains

  • Snow showers and cold temperatures are expected for Easter weekend.

Region 13: Intermountain

  • The holiday weekend should start out cool, but turn mild and sunny.

Region 14: Desert Southwest

  • To start the weekend, snowy periods may occur in the east, with sun in the west. Isolated rain showers round out the weekend, with colder-than-normal temperatures overall.

Region 15: Pacific Northwest

  • Sunny skies and milder-than-normal temperatures are expected for the holiday weekend.

Region 16: Pacific Southwest

  • Expect warmer-than-normal temperatures and sunny skies!

Region 17: Alaska

  • Milder-than-normal temperatures are expected, along with scattered snow showers. 

Region 18: Hawaii

  • Showers and cooler-than-normal temperatures are expected in the east, with a mix of sun and rain in the west.

Canada Weather Regions 2018

Region 1: Atlantic Canada

  • Rain and snow showers are likely, with cooler-than-normal temperatures.

Region 2: Southern Quebec

  • The weekend starts with seasonable, rainy weather, then turns sunny.

Region 3: Southern Ontario

  • Snow showers are expected in the west, with rain more likely in the east. Expect colder-than-normal temperatures throughout.

Region 4: The Prairies

  • The weekend starts with snow showers, and finishes sunny, yet cold.

Region 5: Southern British Columbia

  • At the start of the weekend, snow may occur in the north, with rain in the south. Sun is expected for the latter half of the holiday weekend, as are warmer temperatures.

  • Cool but sunny weather is expected.

Region 7: Northwest Territories

  • Sunny skies and milder-than-normal temperatures are expected.
