10 yr old Pit Bull. Can’t seem to find Pit Bull pictures on anything. Our dog is 10 yrs old, and is the nicest dog you will ever have. Pit bulls are discriminated against, and not all pit bulls are bad.

This is a user-submitted pet food recipe and has not been tested. Please check your pet’s dietary and nutritional requirements with a veterinarian before using this recipe.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup dry milk
2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon salt
3/4 cup Safflower Oil
2 T. honey or molasses
1/2 cup tart cherry juice
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1 cup beef broth
1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup bone meal

Preheat the oven to 300°F.
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. (Sometimes it’s easier to put gloves on and mix it up with your hands.)
Spray a 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan with non stick spray really well.
Transfer the dough into the pan and push it all flat and level.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and score the bars for easier cutting. Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave them in there to finish baking. A lot of ovens vary, so check on them often.
Makes 2-1/2 to 3 dozen healthy yummy (he said so) bars for your best friend. Store in airtight containers.
