The winning date for our annual “Guess Our First Snow” contest is December 12, 2016! Thirty-three Almanac readers guessed this date!
(As a reminder, we defined “real snow” as: two inches of snow that sticks for 48 hours, not just a flurry that comes and goes. Contest entry deadline was November 25, 2016.)
This year, EVERYONE who guessed the correct date won The 2017 Old Farmer’s Almanac Weather Watcher’s Calendar.
