What does the grading system in plywood mean?
Answer
The grading system ranks the defects in the wood’s surface. Grades C and D, for example, have knotholes, but the knots are larger in grade D. In grades A and B, knotholes are patched, and the surface of the sheet is sanded. An occasional patch will appear in grade A.
