As is typically the case for July, Mother Nature has planned a few fireworks of her own to celebrate America’s Independence Day. For many regions in North America, there will be scattered thunderstorms during the weekend prior to July 4th or on the holiday itself. And not only will there be a concert in the skies, but it will be hot! Early July is when most regions will experience higher-than-average temperatures.

Alaska: Showers throughout state on weekend, mostly cloudy with chance of rain on holiday
Hawaii: Very mixed, with clouds and a little rain expected throughout most of the holiday weekend
